My Test Square Is Correct, but My Pattern Piece Isn't
If your test square measures correctly but another part of the pattern doesn't, the first thing to check is what device you're printing from.
Are you printing from a phone or tablet?
If so, this is very likely the problem.
Phones, tablets and mobile printing apps often scale parts of a PDF incorrectly, even when the test square appears to have printed at the correct size.
For this reason, I recommend downloading your Pink Pony Design pattern to a computer or laptop, opening it in Adobe Acrobat Reader, and printing from there.
Select Actual Size in the print settings, then print and measure the affected page again before printing the rest of the pattern.
Still having the same problem?
If you're already printing from a computer using Adobe Acrobat Reader and the test square is correct but another pattern piece still isn't, please contact me.
Let me know which pattern and pattern piece you're having trouble with, and if possible include a photo showing the measurement that seems incorrect with a ruler next to it. I'll be happy to take a look.
Happy sewing!
